Lesley Collier
I graduated from Exeter University in 2004 with a BA Hons degree in English and set my sights on a career in television.
My first 'inspiring' role was as a runner for BBC show Saturday Kitchen, which involved ironing the food splattered shirts of Anthony Worrall Thompson. I then went on to present The Great Big British Quiz, London TV and the Laurence Olivier Awards appearing on Sky, Channel 5 and ITV.
With a postgrad in film journalism I can mostly be found stuffing my face with popcorn in the Odeon in Kingston, or in Borders in Market Square furiously penning my first novel..
